"Nonno Penguin is the story of a girl whose grandpa suddenly turns into a penguin.
Everything is different, everything is strange, nothing is how it was before. Our protagonist must navigate the changes in his relationship with his beloved Nonno. What to do with a penguin? It can’t speak, it just makes loud noises.
It can’t eat properly, a penguin has no thumbs nor fingers!
And it surely can’t play Nonno’s beloved mandolin! What happened to grandpa? And why?!"

Nonno penguin is a story about coming to terms with life changes and learning to welcome them.
It’s a story about growing up, and about growing old. Our protagonist might feel lost and confused about these sudden changes... and maybe that’s something she can share with Grandpa penguin.
